Studied fashion at Bunka Fashion College and initially pursued a career in the fashion industry. Inspired by working with cameras on set, decided to become a photographer. After gaining experience as an assistant, now works actively in advertising and magazines while continuing a lifelong journey of street photography. Also engages in writing and teaching about photography. Opened MONO GRAPHY Camera & Art, a bookstore where camera and photography enthusiasts can gather. A full member of the Japan Professional Photographers Society (JPS).
