ILKO ALLEXANDROFF

Based in Kobe, Ilko Allexandroff is a portrait photographer with a YouTube channel followed by 150,000 people. He came to Japan from Bulgaria in 2008 as a government-sponsored international student. After graduating from Kobe University, he obtained an MBA in marketing from Kwansei Gakuin University. Although he initially had no connection to art or photography, he developed an interest in cameras during his studies. He uses flash not to simply brighten dark places but to create compelling works of art. Centered Based in Kobe, he specializes in capturing artistic portraits.
