BIOGRAPHY

Born in Tokyo in 1965. He has worked as an editor and writer for a boxing magazine since 1988. In 2001, he moved to the U.S. and became a photographer. In 2008, he was scouted by Ring Magazine, a U.S. boxing magazine, where he worked as the main photographer for eight years. His ability to capture the impact of a punch and the decisive moment was highly acclaimed in the boxing mecca, and he was called “the man who foresees the punch." He returned to Japan in 2016. Currently, he is working on using his experience in the U.S. to send photos of Japanese boxing and fighters to other parts of the world.
