What is UHS Speed Class?

Speed standard for continuous writing between UHS-I / UHS-II memory cards and compatible devices.

The UHS Speed ​​Class icon indicates the minimum write speed required for smooth writing of streaming content such as video recordings. This is mainly important for camcorders, video recorders and devices with video recording capabilities.

  • UHS-I Speed Class 0: No minimum write speed defined in UHS-I IF
  • UHS-I Speed Class 1: Minimum write speed of 10 MB/s in UHS-I IF
  • UHS-I Speed Class 3: Minimum write speed of 30 MB/s in UHS-I IF
