How to fix a “disk is write protected” error

When the write protect switch on the side of the SD memory card (or SD adapter) is ON, the overwrite protection function is activated. So please turn off the write protect switch, and try recording again. The write protect switch is a switch labeled “Lock” on the adapter body.
